Starting in 2023 I had the opportunity to design models for a new LEGO Build Classroom at the Newburgh Armory Community Center in Newburgh, NY. I designed this model from concept - to LEGO model - build.
For this model I chose five LEGO elements that represent the aspects of STEAM. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. It is very important to me that Art is included on that list, creativity/design/beauty plays a vital role in how we use and implement STEM throughout the world. The model is free standing and requires no internal structure for support. I worked with our animators to mount it to a turntable so that every piece of the model can be appreciated.
I am very proud of the models and the whole space that was designed and built by LLNY’s Tech Services dept.
