The Elder Beast

As the writhing mass breached this plane, the candles on the altar trembled.

The Elder Beast escaped from a cosmic sea, an entity of great strength. Its maw a mass of tendrils like that of an octopus. Remnants of its imprisonment remain.

Built for round one of Bio-Cup 2020.

The altar is a side build I planned to use with The Elder Beast, but I ended up cutting it from the final entry.
